What are the requirements to apply?

Writers will only be able to enroll in ONE workshop; however, all are encouraged to apply for first and second choices. Thus, applying in different weeks is allowed,  attendance is permitted to only one workshop over the two-week period.

ALUMS, please note: Writers may attend 3 workshops maximum in the same genre or topic. Alums may attend 2 additional workshops in different genres or topics. No more than 3 years may be consecutive.

When is the deadline?

The application deadline is midnight February 15, 2020 (Pacific Daylight Time) -- only completed applications are eligible for review.

How much is the tuition?

The tuition is $1250.00

Is there an application fee?

Yes. The non-refundable application fee is $30.00.

When will I be notified of my application status? 

Participants are notified of their acceptance by March 15 and have until March 22, 2020, to confirm their acceptance and pay a non-refundable deposit of $200.

Waitlisted applicants will be notified by April 1, 2020.

Once, I am accepted when is my tuition fee due?

The tuition is due by April 22, 2020 unless a payment plan has been requested.

Are there payment plans available?

There is a two-part payment plan available. ½ due on April 22, 2020. Balance due by May 22, 2020.

Are there scholarships available?

There are a limited number of need-based partial scholarships. See application.
